Each year Parkwood goes abroad to host KYR as a retreat for students of workers serving in Central Asia. We have large-group worship , small group discussion, and plenty of downtime - some organized, some free. The goal is to build relationships with students, encourage them, and support CA families.
 

Team Member Qualifications:



Be a maturing follower of Christ who shows an understanding of the Gospel and the biblical command for the mission. (Matthew 28:16-20, Acts 1:8)

Be a member of Parkwood Baptist Church (or like minded church): meet regularly with the church body for worship, actively participate in discipleship through a Growth Group, support the church financially through generous and committed giving, serve regularly with a Parkwood ministry, share their faith on a regular basis, publicly display a relationship with Christ.

Be willing to communicate to and work with the Parkwood Mission Team Leader and Mission Partners to accept and carry out all ministries and tasks with a God-honoring attitude.

Be willing to conform to the customs of the national Christians, even if those customs are stricter than their own.

Be committed to devoting the time and energy to the all trip responsibilities including: pre-trip training and post trip.
